Born on May 6, 1999, in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Bhagyashri spent part of her childhood in Lagos, Nigeria. Later, she returned to India for schooling and higher education. Although she studied business management, her passion for modeling and acting ultimately led her to the film industry.

Career Beginnings

Bhagyashri made her acting debut in 2023 with the Bollywood film Yaariyan 2, portraying Raajlaxmi Cariappa, a painter and the late girlfriend of the lead character. She then appeared in Chandu Champion and Mr. Bachchan (2024) alongside Ravi Teja. While Mr. Bachchan did not perform well commercially, her performance stood out, establishing her as a talented newcomer.

Breakthrough with Kingdom

Her major breakthrough came with Kingdom, a Telugu spy-action thriller directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, released in July 2025. Vijay Deverakonda plays an undercover cop, while Bhagyashri’s performance as a pivotal character won widespread appreciation. The film earned ₹82.02 crore at the box office and later streamed on Netflix in multiple Indian languages.
