Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla Returns After ISS Mission

Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, the second Indian to travel into space after Rakesh Sharma, has safely returned home after his successful mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Part of the Axiom-4 mission, Shukla spent nearly 20 days in space conducting over 60 experiments designed by ISRO and Indian institutions. On his arrival at Delhi Airport, he was welcomed by Union Minister Jitendra Singh, ISRO Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan, and Delhi CM Rekha Gupta. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised his courage, calling the mission an inspiration for a billion Indians and a milestone for India’s upcoming Gaganyaan mission.
